My final project for Audio Video Editing class. We had to do a movie trailer so I chose to do sometjing a little different from everyone else, create a trailer for a movie that doesn’t even really exist. I did The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 2 using clips from the original film, Van Helsing (because I thought that one deserved a sequel too and tied in well with League) and various WW I & II movies. The music is requiem for a Dream (standard movie trailer fair in fact someone else in my …

Ever read the video descriptions? -_- I said the same damn thing and admitted it was a project for school and therefore a FAKE trailer in the description as well as listing the clips I used. Read from time to time before opening your mouth and commenting and you won’t look like Captain Obvious.

fuck me! u people R dumb. the movie sucked balls read the graphic novels they are the true acounts of the league. what was a thought provoking comic with highly graphic themes was turned into a dumb fucking kids movie.

PS. this movie was actually the reason Sean Connery retired!!

  • dinoguy92 says:

true, but if you watch the commentary they say they didnt want to do that

  • kazemon says:

Yea but at the end of the first movie they obviously hint at Allen returning from the dead (see near end of my trailer). People would have an expectation for him to return in any sequel.

There iz no LXG 2,This Trailer is from Van Helsing Movie n Other Movies including LXG itself!!!!!!!!

  • critical113 says:

Hopefully there will be a second part to it, hopefully they will find another to play the role of Alan Quartermain. Even though it’s been a long time, i still have hope for a second.

  • dinoguy92 says:

allen died in the first one,so there wud be not alen part, sooo they cud make a second one

  • Yalithwolf says:

This was amazing! Great job! i loved the movie and I’m soooo sad tehy aren’t making a sequel!

  • kazemon says:

You’d have to hold it forever if you were because Sean Connery has retired from acting so unless they decide to recast the role of Alan Courtermain then there will never be a sequel

  • kazemon says:

Adobe Premier CS3. Unfortunately I only have access to that program at school.

Very cool.I like the movie but it couldn’t have been SO much better.I had my hopes up for a part 2 but I’m not holding my breath.

  • rangepure383 says:

What movie editing program you used to make this trailer?

  • eirino0369 says:

sera un trailer falso y que? si no fuera por que ya he visto las pelis que pusiste ahi me la habria creido la combinacion de clips y dialogos es excelentes ademas del dinamismo dado para que no se note tanto el corte de peli a peli. En fin 5 estrellas

I knew that when I came up with the idea so in my mind if a movie like this were ever made Dracula & Phantom would be the same person My brain was thinking, Van Helsing thought he defeated Dracula in Romania but then he somehow became the Phantom & fought the League & now hes back & thats why Van Helsing has to join the League to help them Thats not a very well thought out scenario & there are tons of plot holes that make no sense but since I didnt have to actually make the film it didnt matter

  • kazemon says:

thank you for your positive feedback. ^_^ t helps especially when I get so much negative stuff just because this is a fake trailer.

  • kazemon says:

Well yea the focus was WWI because it’s actually mentioned in LXG that a war would be coming.

  • BlueCranberry says:

Dracula is 1897. Aeroplanes are officially 1903. The Victorian era is 1837-1901. And anyway, it’s all the same general time period – the culture’s rather homogeneous until WWI, which I do believe is the subject of the trailer?
